Advice I’d Give if Someone Asked

  1. If you love a song, listen to it as many times as you want. You might get tired of the song, but a lot of good music exists so you will find another one to repeat the process with.
  2. When you get home, try to finish homework and/or any other responsibilities as soon as you can. That way, you can enjoy the rest of your day without worrying about the things you have to do.
  3. Learn how to sew clothing. It’s a useful skill to know and if you’re living life correctly, your clothes should tear every now and then.
  4. Understand that sometimes, life resembles torn clothing. Things can separate, but with the right amount of effort, some things can be fixed.
  5. If you want to compliment a stranger, do it – but only if you mean it.
  6. If you disagree with people, don’t change your opinion to fit theirs.
  7. When your teachers or professors are lecturing in class and all of the other students are halfway asleep, ask a question or make a comment. Teachers and professors are just as human as anyone else – they want to know that someone cares enough to listen.
  8. If you try your hardest and somebody tells you that you did not do well enough, he or she is wrong. If you tried your hardest, you did well enough.
  9. Sometimes, we as humans don’t fully express our emotions. If you are suffering in silence, remember that it’s possible that somebody else might be caring about you – in silence.
  10. Do not reply to unimportant texts during a conversation. Being distracted might make you miss an important detail. Conversations can be a lot of great things – thought – provoking, hilarious, or influential – so pay as much attention as you can.
  11. Eat pizza.
